New enclosure question

Calmer colors but it looks almost as if she is getting her big girl pattern now too. I do not have the same experience with females that I do males. Looks kinda receptive. How old is she now?
@MissSkittles @AmandaS @janjan20 What do you think this girls colors mean? ❤
Wow! She’s got a lot of orange...very pretty and unique!
Honestly, I’m not sure what her colors mean. My answer would depend a lot on her age. If she’s over 5-6 months, I’d make sure she has a lay bin as a permanent part of her enclosure.
Idk veilds nearly as well as @Beman ?? but looks happy to me. I'm going to suggest however, you remove the bark from those branchs, i assume you just nabbed those from outside? If you shave the bark off and bake the branches at 200-250° in the oven for id say at least 2 hours to kill anything possibly living inside. Obviously use caution, make sure there is no bark, leaves, anything thats dry and could catch. The temp is low enough to not burn but its not a bad idea to check it to make sure ???
I have the bark on my branches and didn’t bake them. I washed with Dawn, rinsed well and dried in the sun for a couple of days.

Its just a suggestion, im super paranoid about mold and w.e. too since im not bioactive. still get a good amount of gnats or mites but im about to change things up, go live and get some pitcher plants to help combat the issue.

Yes, I’m fighting the never-ending battle of soil gnats, but fortunately haven’t had any mites...just stupid little ghost ants (May they Rest In Peace). I like the look of the lichen on the branches...looks more authentic to me.

Has she gone thru a receptive period yet? It’s when they show all of their pretty colors and get really restless? That comes before being gravid and at least with my ladies, is impossible not to notice. I’d just get the lay bin prepared and put it in/leave it in her enclosure.

The lichen isnt dangerous? I do like that look too i had just always assumed that was a form of mold so i tossed my branches that had it ?

Not that I noticed but I will prepare one soon ?

I guess it is a form of fungal growth but I’ve always considered it a plant. I can’t find much information if it’s dangerous, other than it depends on the species of lichen.

I’ve seen my girl with that type of color pattern when she’s just chillin but I’m really unsure. Mine is just shy of 6 months but she started looking blotchy like that around 4.
