NEw enclosure With no water !!!!

Sorry, those compact bulbs are NOT good. When I didn't know better I used one for my male and his eyesight is now so bad he can only eat from a dish. Please remove that or modify if you can, for the UV linear bulb. You only need one bulb and a basking bulb. You can forget the heat lamp unless your cham lives in a very cold house.

Wow i think im going to go to the pet store and throw these people thru walls .... they told me specifically there is nothing different between the lights....... and i spent over $100 .... after reading this uv guide website i dont understand why they still carry the bulbs .... chequepoint did make a good point (lol) about the fountains and the pet stores knowing nothing different exept it shows a chameleon on the box ( so they must be good for chameleons )NOT

in the fixture i have 2 (5.0 uvb) and 2 ( 2.0 uvb full spectrum lights)

im guessing is 2 much

i will be going to the pet store today to return these lights and get a linear...

Good man... smack them around too ;):D

alright i got a linear ..... they only had the ballast that connects 2 the ends of the light they didnt have an actuall cover so ive made one out of some cardboard and tinfoil ... lol ....... dosnt look very attractive but it works

Brilliant action Rstuart!:D

Some people may have negative things to say about flexariums but Skeeta loved her 260 gallon mansion for 2 years. (I just finished moving her into a custom cage I built, and she loves THAT a little bit more.

As for Dodola's suggestion "Also more foliage on the bottom part."
If you zip-tie a sturdy wooden dowel corner to corner on the inside top of the cage you can hang a nice pathos plant (ya can't kill 'em) to fill things up and raise the humidity to boot.;)

Good work!

yea i think its great so far...... the only thing i can see being a problem is the humidity

more foliage for sure ..... what are some other good vine plants that are safe for her?

good idea to put the woden dowel i will definetly do that!!

hopefully in a couple years i will gain some wood working skills and be able to build her a new cage!!

I gotta say that I am fully impressed at how quickly and accurately you turned things around..A lot of people come on looking for answers and then quickly dismiss them if it doesnt fit with their thinking or budget. You didn't question the knowledge you were given and did as you were told.:) Rock on.
