So Pasquale is out growing his starter cage so I'm doing a diy cage from a old cabniet. Any advice about painting. I've primed then painted 3 coats and now I'm wondering what type of finish can I use to cover the whole thing. Expesially on the inside. Like a sealer or a pholyurathan type sealant??

I used butchers block in my enclosure for my Jacksons,it worked really well with the constant misting sessions.

It's a food grade sealer used in kitchens etc so it should be fine for your cham,I had no issues. You can get it at most hardware stores in the paint/stain section. There's lots of good experienced people that may have other ideas to consider as well

Ya if you notice the cabniet in the before picture was very shiny and I showed this to the paint guy at lowes and he told me no need To sand just prime and paint so that's what I did now I noticed it's been just over 24hrs that if I drag my nail across the paint it peels off So I want to put something over the whole thing that will seal it all I don't want to take a chance he scratches it with his nails and eats paint. So frustrating
