So Pasquale is out growing his starter cage so I'm doing a diy cage from a old cabniet. Any advice about painting. I've primed then painted 3 coats and now I'm wondering what type of finish can I use to cover the whole thing. Expesially on the inside. Like a sealer or a pholyurathan type sealant??

I used butchers block in my enclosure for my Jacksons,it worked really well with the constant misting sessions.

It's a food grade sealer used in kitchens etc so it should be fine for your cham,I had no issues. You can get it at most hardware stores in the paint/stain section. There's lots of good experienced people that may have other ideas to consider as well :)

Ya if you notice the cabniet in the before picture was very shiny and I showed this to the paint guy at lowes and he told me no need To sand just prime and paint so that's what I did now I noticed it's been just over 24hrs that if I drag my nail across the paint it peels off So I want to put something over the whole thing that will seal it all I don't want to take a chance he scratches it with his nails and eats paint. So frustrating
