Thats a boy.
As far as care is concerned, they are very different from veileds.

jacksons like more water, lower temps, and less supplementation.

They like alot of water, so misting frequently is a must.

Basking temp should be around 80.

Supplementation- I did calcium twice a week, multivitamin once a month, and calcium with d3 every 6 weeks.

Bless him, he doesn't look happy! My Monty only ever shows those colours when he sees the cat. Yours looks pretty much an adult so you can up his basking spot to approx 85. He has a lovely set of horns on him too! :D I have always supplemented my male Xanth thus - calcium 1x per week, Reptivite (without D3) once per week and Reptivite WITH D3 once every 6 weeks. He has done really well on this schedule as I got him at 7 weeks of age weighing just 3g. He is now 15 months and weighs 60g. I also make sure to gut load the insects well too - it's far better to get nutrients in them this way than to rely on supplements to dust the insects, as Jacksons can be very sensitive to over supplementation.

Thanks everyone! Yes I figured those were his pissed colors , he's starting to turn more green this morning. That pic was taken when I took him right out of the box. And the poor thing was so tired. I basically got him cuz petsmart had him in a cage with a bowl of water!!!!! Argh I had I save the sweet boy :) I'm thinking of naming him camo! Me an my bf are in the army so we thought it would work great!
