Hey guys i got my first Jackson the other day but i forgot to ask the lady how old he was. Anyways do any of you think you would be able to estimate the age of my Chameleon? He is about 7-8in, slender, and long horns.
Thanks!

Post a pic up. I would say 7-9 months based on that size. They usually get 9-13" from head to tail being full grown.

I would say slightly older than that, based on how mine looks and he is almost a year. A better pic of his face/horns may give us mroe of an idea. Mine doesn't yet have the darker casque colouring yet, so that's what makes me think yours is older.

maybe monty is a squirt and just developing slower than the rest? because i remember when i first got linus at 6-8 months, he had a full set of horns and his adult coloring already? even if monty is a slow grower, he is adorable as heck <3

Yes, it is dawning on me that Monty maybe a tad on the small side. I am hoping for a growth spurt soon as he just shed again (his last shed was at the end of March). There was a period of about 9 weeks where he didn't gain any weigth at all yet he didn't lose any either! Having never seen an adult male Jackson before I am not quite sure how big he should/shouldn't be. He really is a dinky dinosaur! :D
