New jacksons

I just got my first chameleon 2 days ago, I'm not sure of his age as it wasn't provided. He eats about 5 gutloaded crickets (collard greens and orange) and they're also dusted with calcium without d3. When I got him he was clearly dehydrated, but my main concern was how thin he is. I'm not sure if he looks normal or not because I've never owned one before. Could someone please let me know if he is too thin? Also maybe an approximate age so I can plan his care accordingly?

It's a little hard to tell how old or skinny he is from the picture. Do you know how long he is? "The Jackson’s chameleon is a medium sized species with an adult length of 10-13” (25-35cm)." He looks like a juvenile (maybe 9-12 months) to me. Dehydration is more of a concern than getting him to eat, in my opinion. Make sure he gets a good misting two-three times a day. You have only had him two days but it make take up to a week for him to begin eating heartily as he gets used to his new environment. Feed him 8-10 feeders every other day, & try not to handle him for the next week or so as he settles in.

Awesome, thank you. Since posting I've watched him eat a few hearty crickets so I'm a little less concerned. He's seemed pretty stressed so I avoid being near his terrarium as much as possible to give him some time to settle in. Maybe I'm just paranoid
