He might just be adjusting still to you give him a few days. Chameleons are shy but grumpy little things. You need to gain there trust.

Hi Jack! That is a good size but 4ft or larger is better. Just for future reference make sure you start your own thread if you have any more questions because it’s easier to keep track of. It gets confusing when answering questions from 2 different ppl.
