New K. multi. arrival!

Just in this morning....I got a new one courtesy of forum member djfishygillz. This guy is CB by Seeco, but he's been through a few hands now. He's got some bruising to the knee joints from shipping but otherwise looks pretty good. Hopefully he'll fill out a bit in the next few months, but my group has really slowed down on the feeding with the cooler weather.

He and my female look friendly towards each other but so far no copulation. Pairing him up with my super green female.

Congrats on the new guy! But I wouldn't want to breed either if I'd spent the previous 12 hours in a box. Once he gets settled and adjusted I'm sure he will.

Thanks everybody.

Thought I'd mention, I know I'm not following proper quarantine protocol by introducing them so soon after he got here. I would not do this if he were WC. I believe my female has been receptive for a few weeks and am taking a chance, I know that. By the looks of him I have high confidence that he is healthy, but nonetheless, I know the risks.

Looks awesome ...how old would you say he is ?

Oh wow although I have never seen juveniles, I got the feeling he look like a year max. See I got mine with the info that he was roughly a year but from the pic you posted im thinking more like 3! Vet said you cant really tell once full grown. Well congrats on your new addition..awesome patterns too!

New photo of this guy after being in my care. Bruises healing up, and much better hydrated. Currently 48F in the cham room. K. multis are less active and eating has slowed in the cool weather, but this guy has actually gained weight since arriving.
