Nice female :) I am expecting a male sired by Line Drive by the end of the month. When did U get your girl? I wonder if it's from the same clutch!?

P.S. how long did U have 2 wait 4 her?

I'm pretty sure it's the same clutch. I had paid down on this girl 2 months ago,b4 they were even ready! I had "pick of the clutch" and requested the Alpha female. I got her on 5-2-12

Great choice going with a "line drive" male . Document his growth, I'm curious about the males of this clutch, since I have plans of breeding her and would like to see the possible direction the pairing with her can go!

I paid for him about the first week of April and Liddy was very nice.
Originally I placed my order for a "Iron Man" sired male, but after looking at the pics of all the breeders, I changed my mind!

I left a long phone message to Liddy explaining what I had done.

So anyway, I hope to have him in the next few weeks. I noticed that they are charging the same for both sexes from Line Drive!!

I keep a diary of my animals, so will keep tract of this guy for sure.
Since you have your female, maybe that means I should expect a call from Liddy sooner then I thought :)

Do you have experience with breeding panthers?
I am very curious and excitted to see how this guy will turn out, and I am also excited to see how your girl does, so PLEASE keep me posted with her development and feel free to PM me anytime.

I am so glad you posted a pic of your girl before removing from the deli cup.
Now I know what to expect.
How would you rate the shipping (packing)?

I also posted a YouTube of the actual opening of her arrival!! You can see exactly how they ship and what to expect!!

She was veryyyy well packaged and so was my other Kammer!

They do a great job. If I were you. I'd give them a call on Monday and see if any from the clutch are ready!

So i believe this little girl now has a case of Gular Edema. It has been faint "swelling" around her neck, but now it's more pronounce( but the weird thing is, at times she looks normal with no swelling at all). From what i have read it can be caused from over supplementing. She was being fed dusted crickets or dubias every other day. She drinks well. She is also taken out 3-4 times a week for natural sunlight.

I now have her off supplements, just gutloaded feeders and upped her mistings. She sometimes has trouble with her tounge. It will be fine for like the first 3-4 feeder she eats, but after that it's almost like her tounge is too heavy for her to control. It gets to the point where she just bites them like a Bearded Dragon would without using her toung at all.

Im a little concerned. :(

Already a problem after only 2 months?
Sorry to hear about that.
Did you contact Liddy or Ed Kammer to get their expert advise?

Keep us posted please

Not yet, i haven't had the time to yet. But it's wayy past whatever warranty there would be. I'll just do my best to figure out what it actually is and address it.

Rite now she is off supplements and more water. If anyone has any tips on treating Gular Edema, please feel free to post.

Thanks in advance.

Just do a forum search for "Gular Edema". There is tons of info about how
to treat it. I think you are doing the right thing by cutting down on the suppliments and making sure she gets lots of water.

I have not seen this in any of my chams (knock on wood!!), so I have no personal experience with treating it.
But I hope it's just a minor thing that will go away with a little change in husbandry.

Are you able to give your cham any natural sunshine where you are?

From what I have seen... Females are a lot more prone to it. Def go off of supplements for a week or so. You can just give her plain calcium. It can be a mix of your Gutload and your supplements...IMO

Edema is more common in females than males. Ive noticed this can occur esp around the time of producing a clutch. She is still prob too young to be producing an infertile clutch. Lay off the supps for a while and try switching her off cricks for a week or so and see how she does. Good time to try her on silks or horns as they are full of extra hydration....;)
