New keeper from Eugene Oregon

I picked up a small male veiled about 2 weeks ago from the local Petco. They had 4 in a tiny little tank and now one of them is living in a medium reptibreeze in my bedroom It took him a couple days to explore his whole cage but now is doing really well. He eats and drinks well and comes right to the front every time I open the door to feed him. I have let him walk across my hand once but otherwise only watched him and hand fed him once a day. Here are some pictures of him when he is all amped and hunting.

Does he have Spurs (little bumps) on the heels of both back feet? If so then you have a boy if no bumps you have a girl. I keep veileds and they are awesome chameleons with allot of personality. You can see my veileds here:

Thanks! Yeah he does have the spurs. I actually used your post a lot for reference to be sure I knew what I was getting into. I've definitely wanted one since I was a kid but now I'm a grown up and I can do what I want!
