Hi Guys,

I went to a reptile show this weekend and picked up a beeeeaaauuuutifullllll boy. It was from a good friend of mine and one i have done a lot of business with in the past. He has always been extremely honest and upfront with me before so i don't have any reason to doubt him. However, i have never heard of this kind. He comes from Madagascar ( did i spell that right? ) and he said they have just started importing these guys. He is w/c but he has had him for several months and has treated him with both flagyl and batryl (although with w/c i will still have him checked, did that before and the mellers still had to be treated with something different) and looks really healthy. He is telling me he is Midnight Blue. Has anyone ever heard of this?'

Can't find my camera we took it to the show with us, but tomorrow i will post pics. I've never seen one like this before. I also bought 2 females. I looks very similar to the other panther females, but the other female actually has a lot of colors to her. I'll post pics of all three tomorrow.

Never heard of them either...aslo females are all individual...some have lots of color no matter the locale and some have very little from that same locale.

Can't wait to see pics. Ohh the other drug was probably panacur...just guessing.

thats what i'm going to do one day, i'm going to post behold the new panther cham and then wait like a week to post pics and then have it be an ambanja lol

Ok Here is the pics of new Midnight Blue Panther!

Geesh, next time i will be quiet until i get the pics, then i will tell you guys about it. lol. Here they are. It was really hard getting good pics of him because he is naturally so dark. Besides that he hates the camera and i'm by myself so i have him in one hand trying to take the pic with the other. Anyway, here they are, let me know what you think.

Oops, forgot how to get the pics on here. But if you look in my gallery, he is the first 2 pics. I will work on getting better ones. They said i couldn't upload the file, because it was too big, but i know i've done it before. Wish i had a memory. lol

Ohh I am sorry, I didn't know you put them in your gallery. Well he is good and healthy...he resembles a Nosy Be, especially wc nosys because they tend to appear more green when they are right off the boat. He looks good.

-chris

oh.. it is already in the gallery.. I miss that too
I have to agree with everybody.. looked like a nosy be.

Here Ya go.

Dude, is Firestar yours?

Kevin

Yes isn't he a beauty! We are expecting his lady to have his babies any day now. I also thought he looked like a nosy be but there are alot of differences. He has a much blunter nose and the only way i got him to look that bright was to put extra lights on. He is really dark and when he flares up he turns jet black with a turqoise blue stripe down his back. The breeder i bought him from has had nosy be's in the past and he said he isn't one.

Was that referring to Firestar or your new guy? Is Firestar yours?
Is Firestar a cross or an Ambilobe?

Thanks,
Kevin
