New male baby veiled help and advice please!

Hi I've Just got a male veiled, he's 12 weeks, born 01/01/13. He lives in a vivexotic Cham viv, wood and glass, lighting is a 10% Arcadia tube and 100w incandescent for basking temps are 84-86basking and about 76 ambient. Humidity between 60-70 fogger intermittently during day and at least two mistings. Feeding 4-5 medium/3rd hoppers twice a day with a few mealworms wax worms every so often,reducing hoppers when given. Dusting daily with plain calcium and twice a week with nutribal. Live plants, umbrella abri, and bromeliad. He's not handled and is very speedy! Any advice would be appreciated

Everything sounds good, do you can a UVB light ? Deff need that! waxworms should be like once a month maybe a little more, but treats!

Make sure you dusting doesnt have D3 on it for daily use! The daily D3 can cause both short term, long term and severe complications.

I'm still new, but those are the things I know for sure.

He wont over eat, so offer him as much as hell take!

the tube is UVB/UVA, calcium hasn't got d3 just checked. He doesn't stay still long enough to get a pic will try to get some when he basks today, very cute!

its not recommended to use hoppers as a staple food for chameleons, they contain too much fat and animal protein to be healthy. crickets or roaches are a great staple that can be easily gutloaded, one of the important things in getting lots on nutrition into your cham, this blog has info on other kinds of feeders and how much they can make of a chameleons diet https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/74-feeders.html

yay good job! You said your cham is activly running around his cage?!
I'm jelous;... Kilo is like a turtle unles i'm cleaning up poop or putting him back in his cage (he sprints!)
