New Melleri!!

Yesterday at a reptile expo I purchased a young captive bred melleri, I had tried to stay away from the species due to the intense care, and large amount of health problems I have read about occurring in wild caught specimens. This little guy was too hard to resist though. He is a little over two months old according to the breeder. I have been researching a lot to ensure correct care.
If anyone with experience with this species has any info they would like to contribute or a guide that will help with a 2 month old I would greatly appreciate it.
So far I have him:
-misting schedule of 3 times a day; at 10 am for 15 minutes, at noon for 10 minutes, and at 4 pm for 5 minutes.
-t5 5.0 reptisun light and a 60 watt incandescent bulb for heat.
-The room varies in between misting from 90% to 35% humidity
at the moment he is in a 36 inch reptibreeze cage, at this age I dont know what would be the best size cage for him; I have different sized if it will be better for him though.
-The ambient temperature of the room varies with median temp in high 70's but max is 83 and low is 65. The hottest part of summer is over here so It shouldn't be getting hotter than 83 now.
- And the basking temperature is high 80s
- I heard they are sensitive to over supplementing so I am planning on using little dustings on the feeders, and gutload the feeders as usual

Anyways most care guides I have seen are directed towards a wild caught imports, would love any advice you could offer me.

Yes I got him from Curt, as I was packing up my booth at the end of the show he brought the little one over and gave me a price I couldn't resist. I checked out the melleridiscovery site and it has really good information. I'm wondering if any of the information is different when dealing with a young one at this age. Like ambient temperature, basking area; those kind of things. I was thinking that they might need it a little lower but I am not completely sure. I have never worked with montane chameleon species before.

Curt I knew that baby came from you. I can't think of anyone else who would have one of that quality. Glad he went to a forum members so I can watch both Clyde and Steve's new one grow. Good Job.

Clyde will let the other one walk all over him.But When yours got close to Clyde,He would Show aggressive posture,He even hissed,From what i have read i am thinking Clyde and yours are males.Buut thats just a guess

I am so stinkin' jealous I can't stand it! Don't know why but I've never seen pics of baby Melleri, and while I love them as adults as babies I just want to eat them up! Best of luck with your new little addition and keep us updated with pics!
