New Mellers!

So I went out on sunday to look at a meller that was for sale localy... didn't buy it. Today I went to get some hornworms and came home with a mellers! It's in kinda rough shape but was the best in the group, I think it stands a pretty good chance. It really bothers me that the "pet industry" treats WC animals so poorly. I go to buy some bugs and see a tank that would be too small for one melleri stuffed full with six! The owner of the shop is fairly reasonable but just dosen't get it when it comes to chams... He knows who I think I am though, and gave it to me at cost. lol. If I had more room I would have taken the whole group. Pics to come soon. Cheers!

It is nice that you get another to add to your collection. As awful as it sounds I try not to read the post about persmart ot petco any more. They are just to sad and depressing. You getting one out of the per store is a big plus for the cham.

Thanks for all the replies! The plant is a ficus ali, they seem to do pretty well in my cages. The cham looks pretty good, although its horn is a little rough and it's missing two nails on its front left. I'm sure its pretty stressed from all the company it had for the last who knows how long, but has been exploring its temporary home all night... probably can't believe it's alone. lol. And it drank ALOT! The thing has a few layers of built up shed here and there as well. I'll post more pics as it settles in. Spot is a pretty good name too. Cheers!
