New member, New DIY cage.

I'd suggest some vertical branches or vines in your enclosure, but other then that it's an A+.

Your cham is going to be very happy boy!

This is the most awesome DIY cage, great job! I really wish I had done some more research before getting my Pascal so that I could've prepared something like this for her. However, this definitely gives inspiration for an upgraded cage for when she gets older. Thanks so much for posting! :)

Thank you! I plan to add some more structure... I haven't decided if I am going to use the branches from outside or use artificial ones. I will update when it is done.

Thank you so much! I drew inspiration from others on this site as well as making do with what materials I had on hand and from the repurposed DIY cage I got on Craigslist. If you need any pointers just ask.

Here's a couple more pics from this afternoon... The hibiscus is looking pretty pathetic but it does have really cool flowers!

Got some more work done while the site was down. Installed the floor and drainage. I also got the cage sealed and painted. I will get those photos tonight.View attachment 145897 View attachment 145898 View attachment 145899 View attachment 145900
Your cage is dope, but I've Hadith up for about 9 months your going to get over spray dripping down onto your carpet it will mold figure a way to stop over spray I used Velcro and shower screen that I cut to fit it also helps with humidity. Happy building!

I've been misting twice a day and check the carpet underneath the enclosure every time and there is no moisture getting onto the carpet ( tested with a moisture meter, I work in the restoration industry and have them readily available). I did get some on the wall behind it but had to spray directly through the screen about 2 inches away from it so I think I am good.

In other news... The Hibiscus is beginning to have new growth. There should be plenty of leaves on it by the time I buy the cham. I also picked up some bamboo sticks but have yet to install them.
