Evening ladies and gents.

My name is Jamie and im new to the forum.

My Fiancee decided that we would like to buy a chameleon a couple of months ago.

after a month of research and Nagging i finally gave in and decided to give it a go...

so went down to our local Marvelous Monsters in blaydon and got some fantastic advice and chose our Yemen Chameleon. with a fantastic name of Tim lol.

This is the beautiful guy!

hes already had his first shed and is settling in nicely. and i am shyly admiting that ive totally fell in love with this animal.

Tims first Shed.

they are such fantastic and interseting creatures and am glad to share this passion with you lot!

Hes now roughly 3-4 months old (i think)

Annd here is his Enclosure. :)

So i look forward to getting to know your lot and hope to become a valued member of this community

Thanks Guys
Jamie

Evening there Jamie, welcome to the forum :). Tim is a real little cutie, no wonder you love him...........
Here's a really good all-round caresheet I always post for new people on here with Veileds - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/chameleonsinmyhouse/395-veiled-chameleon-care-sheet.html

He could really do with some more foliage so he can hide a bit and he'll feel more secure.
I would also suggest getting a dripper set up instead of the waterfall. Waterfalls are difficult because they build up bacteria too quickly as insects and fecal matter get in. They are often recommended by pet shops, but nobody on the forum likes them.

I visited here and never left! :)

welcome Jamie to the forums and chameleon ownership! Tiny Tim is adorable!! I agree with Dave and you need to get some more foilage in there and also some horizontal branches or vines for some walkways.

Welcome to the Forums! Adorable little Veil you have there! i love the Name. I loved your Introduction of yourself and Tim, Very nice. You set up looks very nice however, i would say, as everyone else has said, more foliage, and less waterfall haha. Awesome looking cham you have there, Can't wait to see Tim's Adult color.

Pleasure meeting you.
