So I bit the bullet and purchased a misting system from Kevin at AquaZamp
Super nice guy, he answered all of my questions about the misting systems. Very quick to respond. Just today I had a question about the timer and he explained it better than the directions did.
These are the pieces that I purchased
Express Misting System (with extra nozzles)
Extra tubing
and a T
After I got the system I figured out that I needed extra elbows, so I contacted Kevin and asked him if he could send me 2 more elbows, he said sure and sent the invoice, I paid it and he confirmed and said the label was printed. This whole process took less than 10 minutes.
I will definitely be referring people to AquaZamp in the future and directing any future purchases there as well
Anyhoo
here are some set up pictures
System: Pump, Tubing, Reservoir Tubing, Seconds Timer, Powersupply, and my Misc. bag of parts
In my bag of parts I have: Nozzle Kit(Nozzles, bulkheads, and screen wedges), reservoir tubing and bulkhead, elbows, T, and hose holder things
This is the pump attached to the lid of the reservoir. I used a Lowes bucket but most likely will be switching to a home depot one. The Lowes buckets are to flimsy and flex with the motion of the pump.
Here is the finished reservoir assembly with the pump attached and bulkhead installed with tubing.
I am going to add more pictures of the setup inside of my enclosures when I get the elbows to finish it.
here is what I like about the system and AquaZamp. Quiet Pump, no louder than my Whisper Air Pump for my aquarium. Easy to instal. I did have trouble with the fittings though but once Kevin told me they were like Chinese Finger Cuffs I figured it out pretty fast. I also liked the customer service. super helpful and quick responses that didnt leave me with other questions
I hope I did your system justice Kevin. Thanks for everything. Ill probably contact you sometime soon. I want a couple of extra nozzles.
