After having a sick female yemen who passed away a week after I got her I decided to go all out and buy as much as I could and got my self a 4-5 month old male yemen who is beautiful in my opinion he's not got a mark on him and he has a massive appetite had him 2 days now and he pretty much will only eat wax worms and locusts.
Any other ideas for him, he eats every day with dusted locust every other day his,
Basking temp is 90f and his ambient is around 75f-80f about a foot lower.
He has UVA +UVB tube lights and a basking light located 10 inches or so off his highest point he can reach to prevent burning.
I have a exo-terra dripper plant in his viv,
2 vines one large one small about 6 fake foul age plants for hiding and a ornimental plant that I put lettuce on for him to munch on Walst I'm at work and between his feeds he is shedding at the min aswell and eats and poos regular but I never see him drink he gets misted once a day because that only chance I can get to mist him.
Any advice is appreciated.
His name I beetle juice (girlfriends choice).

He is cute, but I think 90F is a little to high for such a young veiled.

I would lower it to mid 80's.
The 10'' distance is a very good idea.
Lots of people have the basking lamp too close, and this can cause skin burns.

I'll look into that but he seems very happy at that sort of temps I have moved the lamp about another inch or two away and it has droped by 10-15 don't want to go any more because of his ambient temp dropping

If he prefers the temp at 90, thats fine, every cham is a little different.
Just keep the 10'' distance, and you should be fine.

Congrats on your new chameleon! I am guessing for sure you know it a male by the back feet? I cannot tell from the pictures you posted. I cannot see your whole enclosure from the pics, but it looks kinda bare! The more foliage the better!

Yer it's a male talons on the back feet and there's a fair bit in there and got more on the way don't want to introduce too much at once the bottom of his viv is pretty bare but the top has hiding spots he came down to drink from his dripper and to hunt other then that he stays hidden up top and you don't see him

Been to a local PC shop today notice my yemen was gasping a little so I've made a ventilation fan system on the back

one draw air in one pulls air out

Yer I've only had him 2 months and he's tripled in size and eats like a horse comes to the bottom of his viv when he sees me and scratchs his glass to come out
