New Photos of My Parsonii Cooper

So... 456 grams and nearly 29 months old. Interesting.... so say 15.73 grams a month just for simplicity...

Atlas is 16 months old and I'm due to weight him next week, but I'd hazard a guess he's around 215g+ since last July he was 179g and he's putting on about 20 grams a month now where it was slower when I first got him and he was pulling about 13 grams a month.

What is he eating Jan? Supplementation?

Very healthy boy there. I totally get the keeping him as a pet and not breeding him by the way. Oddly I will say out of all the chams I've kept the only one that ever really a "pet" was my old male Parson, hence trying to so hard over 19 years to get another.:D

I just went back and looked at all of Coopers photos after seeing this thread. Nothing I can say that hasn't been said already. Nothing I can say that would even begin to describe how gorgeous he is, anyways! Thanks for sharing, please keep the updates coming.

PS. I should also thank you for your care sheet! When I first started keeping chams your page was my go-to. I still refer to it from time to time if I'm unsure about something. I hope to one day be able to own my own parsonii!

Holy giant chameleon, Batman! 456 grams??? My Ferds maxed out at 65g.

I miss having a chameleon so much. I promised myself I would wait until Christmas because I'm so busy, but it's hard with so many gorgeous chams (like Cooper) on the Forum.

I'm glad you enjoy Coopers pictures. He will get bigger. They grow till around 2 years old and continue to fill out after that. Chuck's big male Hercules is over 900 grams. Looking forward to seeing your new guy, when you get one. :D

Cooper goes outside allot in the morning before it gets to hot so my vet says he needs very little supplements since he gets outside time, well gut loaded feeders and try to get him to eat a large variety of feeders. He only gets a multivitamin about every three weeks. He loves katydids, mantis, stick bugs, grasshopper, dragon flies, moths and butterflies but when I can't get these I can sometimes get him to eat super worms and a medium size discoid that's still the light brown color. He want touch a large roach or any roach that has turned shinny and dark colored. He is extremely picky. I have tried and still offer him many other feeders but he want touch them and just looks at me like I'm crazy.

Thanks again everyone for all the nice Cooper comments.

Lurita, I do have some new photos of Cooper that I will post as soon as I get a chance. I have one of his tail but it's not curled. I weighed him last Sunday and he was 456 grams. He's a VERY picky eater and wants nothing but exotic feeders.

Cooper is strictly a pet. It use to be frowned on to have
a Parsonii and not try to breed but now so many people have them and several of the US keepers have Parsonii babies, I think it's ok for me to just keep him as a pet. It hurts really bad when you loose a female and I don't want to go through that again.

Is the great looking spare Parsonii room just going to become a chameleon room for another of your chameleons? Or is that room used just storage space now? I was wondering how a great DIY chameleon room is doing these days.

Best Regards
Jeremy A. Rich
