are these a rarer sort of chameleon??? how much would one run someone where you guys are....i just want to know if it was a good deal or not!!!

That reptarium should be standing up. Chameleons like height. Also, is that a 38 gallon? a 38 gallon is to small for an adult panth.

sorry the pic was just cropped to the side...its vertical and yes it is and hes only about 8 mnths oldish maybe 11.....still not very big and i am definantally gonna upgrade!!! i work at a pet store so i have good access!!! thanks guys!!!

Although "rainbow" might sound a bit more flattering, i assure you that it is not a known locale of pardalis chameleons.:p I would honestly say that you have an ambilobe there. Is there anywy you can post some more photos of him that showcase his entire body?

heres a few more.....hes real jumpy and active so its hard to get any good ones!!!

Hah, Rainbow Panther. He IS looking like an Ambliobe. They're not rare amongst keepers in the United States by any means. They usually run...well on average around $300 give or take from a reputable breeder and a good blood line. I've never encountered a petstore selling panthers before, so I don't know what they usually sell them for, but I know most pet stores inflate the cost of veileds an INSANE amount. Like 50%.
Congratulations, he is gorgeous! Keep the pics comin'!

I absolutely hate the term "rainbow" to describe a locale of panther. I hate it because I see pet stores selling "rainbow panthers", and when I ask what locale it is, they say I was told it's a rainbow. In other words, someone could be breeding muts and passing them off as "rainbow" to a pet store. The pet store could care less what locale it is, as long as they get their $300+ tag price for it.

looks like a blue bar ambilobe.. beautiful anaimal, nice coloring..from the pics he looks to be about 8 months old..some first generation crosses are hard to pick out..he coukd be a cross.

He looks a lot like some 7-8month old Diego suarrez panthers I have been breeding last year. In this size he should show more blue in his bars if he was a Ambilobe..just my opinion. He looks very nice anyway
