There does appear to be something wrong with the right back leg. Would you please fill out the Ask For Help Form and post more pictures at different angles of that leg.

His leg started look different last week.

Sorry I dont have any other pic's of him, I am at work.

Looks like it could be MBD or broke at some point. Is he using that leg?

He will need more feeders than just crickets. Will he not eat more than 6 to 8 a day? That's not many for a growing boy.

I would recommend running the Misk King longer, 3 minutes or so 2 to 3 times a day and not late in the evening so the cage will dry out before bed time. It should also dry out between each misting.

He use the leg walks with it and holds on. I have given him mealworms as well but that might only be 2 times a week. When I place more then 6 to 8 he will not eat them. The last ones I got were on the large size. I will change the mister when i get home.

Plain calcium with no D3 every other day and Calcium with D3 about 2 times per month. I would add more feeders and more gutload items to the feeders diet as well.

I would get an appointment for him to be seen by a good reptile vet with experience in chameleons. Try to get a sample of the poop to take for a fecal also.

Hopefully you can find out what is going on with his leg. I see you live in Florida, so be sure and get your chameleon out in the sun when you can. It is very beneficial for him. Right now it is very hot of course so just make sure he has access to shade, water and do not leave unattended of course if not in a secure enclosure. Make sure to keep an eye to make sure he is not overheating. If you see him gaping, then I would bring inside. Good luck with him!
