whats a kangaroo vine?

Id like to get a vine thing that can grow up more onto my dowel rods in my cages.

seeds? its going to take awhile to get them of any useful size

not familiar with the vine, but things like creeping fig can be bought at your local nursery for $8 for a decent sized plant (and they grow fast)

your plant choices seem fine, but seeds take a long time before they are viable for enclosure use...what is the sensitive plant? never heard of that one

I have a greta nursery that i can get stuff at.
I dont like to grow seeds, i can never get it to grow properly.

Seeds can be so difficult to grow well if you're not super familiar with them. Good luck!

I'm a reef aquarium enthusiast I know about things that take a while to grow out if you look over my list all those plants if Baugh as plants would cost a few hundred dollars

Then sensitive plant is an awesome plant when the leaves are disturbed the close up and it's on the safe plant list research it for sure they can grow as a a attachable vine as well that can snake in and out of your other plants
Kangaroo vine and creeping fig grow very fast once they reach about 6" and I'm not really in a hurry for plants in my free range if you've seen just as fillers

Haha I'm just the opposite I've done better starting stuff from seed most the time if I buy an already established plant it seems to die slowly haha

haha. I get seeds to sprout, but then they never seem to really grow. its like i get stunted plants. lol.

Yeah a lot of people at this stage either provide to much or to little water I've found that at sprout stage it's best just to mist them a could times a day just to lightly dampen the soil
Also it's very easy to give sprouts not enough light or to little light a good rooting fertilizer is optimal to help encourage a quicker root structure

Also as I grow these out I'd be more than happy to share and get healthy cutting out for anyone that'd be interested ;)

well if you want to provide clippings, that would be super duper! lol

I used to try to get flowers started inside under grow lights, then move them outside when they wre big enough/ it was warm enoguh.

I did light mistings, never just poured water on them.

oh well... they dont like me...
