New set up and need ideas for climbing

Hey guys this is my first post!! I've had my Cham for a little over 2-3 months. I ADORE him. I just switched from a tiny glass terrain to a giant screened 4 ft by 2ft screened cage (reptibreeze) Cham seems a lot happier in his new cage but I notice he climbs on the screen ALOT and I don't want to tear his nails out. I want to add sticks in his cage but I'm not really sure how to go about that. Any suggestions? Here are some pictures of the new setup. Thanks!!

He is on the screen because he has nothing else to climb on. He can't get close enough to his heat lamp. You need to attach a lot of horizontal branches at diffrent levels of the cage and some at angles going to upper branches. Like this but try to get more foliage in the front:

Yes I know which is why I'm trying to figure out what I can use as climbing objects. He has a vine in there now. But I'm not sure how to get the sticks to stay without them falling. I heard tacs work. What did you use to secure your sticks?

I personally tied a tough string around my sticks in different places at the ends and used a needle to loop the sting through the screen and tie it to the sticks again. This only works it the sticks are rough and grooved at the ends... putting intentions in the ends of smoother sticks will keep the string in place.

Some people drive thumb tacks into the ends of the branches thru the outside of the screen. Some use small zip ties thru the screen. Branches can be dowels from the hardware store or branches from non toxic trees that have been bleached and rinsed and dried. Pet stores sell bendy vines.

the bendy vines are great! you can add several crosses all over the cage with just one. i used those tags like what you get to tie froot off in the grocery store and used those to secure my branches, little stronger than sewing. Although i'm sure either will work perfect. i'm just paranoid! :)

I built a frame out of dowel rods to fit inside the cage. Then used pushpins to secure the sticks and horizontal dowels. I also placed the branches/dowels on the rod frame so the sticks would have something else to support the weight. I can always attach a picture if you're interested.
