Hi guys,

Nearly finished my setup for my new Yemen which I get in two weeks, still need to set my dripper up, but just wondering what you think of the setup, need to put some pebbles into the plant pots too as I don't won't him eating the dirt.. I was wondering if you think it is too crowded or if it's okay...

The inside looks nice and fine... but is it inside a glass terarium? Chameleons have to have mesh for ventalation.

They do not need mesh cages. I have kept a few species in glass cages, with very a lot of success.

@OP- Looks good! And why not plant the plants right in there? Like this: https://www.chameleonforums.com/critique-my-enclosure-35783/

Oh wow, thank you. I had no idea that glass terariums were okay and even good to use. Im a brand new cham owner, and everything that I heard said not to use glass, but now I know. Thanks again, learning something new every day. :D

Cheers guys thought it might be a but OTT.. Yes the viv has a mesh top and vents at the bottom, however he is only a wee baby and this viv is only till he gets bigger then I will transfer him into a larger all mesh viv..

@OP- Looks good! And why not plant the plants right in there?

You mean put compost at the bottom of the viv and plant them? Would that not be a nightmare to clean and drain etc... ?
