New to CF- 2 Jacksons

So I found out about CF while doing research for my Jacksons. There is a lot of info and friendly people on here helping each other out.

I've had Veiled chameleons in the past when I younger and sadly sold them when I joined the army. Fast forward 6 years and I found myself looking for a Jacksons this time around. With the space and time available to take care of them. I found a professional breeder that lived an hour away. So i got pair of Jacksons 1 male 1 female.

The male is just turning 4 months old while the female is a little over 5 months.
the female looks about double is size and will run around the cage for food , while he is a little more lazy.
I feed them 1/4-1/2" crickets
Small meal worms ( she never eats them but he loves them)
Yes I gut load them and dust about once every 3 weeks

There housed in a 18x18x24" reptile tank ( glass sadly I know I shouldn't have)
I ended up taking out the front door and building a screen door for it.
Mostly because I ended up getting the coolmist humidifier
Uvb bulb and basking light which they maneuver around depending if they want to get warmer.
I have the humidifier on a timer as well as a small waterfall I made with a little water pump I bought to rain down the top of 1 side usually once a day for 15 mins while I'm at work.
The timers kick In waking them up at 7am I bottle mist the tank usually 3-4 times a day.

The tank is on a stand next to a window with the screen door facing it. So in the mornings I pull the curtain away and open the window and let them get natural
sun light.

They have their own so no one bothers them except when I feed or mist them. Also he's a month and a half younger then her but significantly smaller , is that normal?

Btw her name is Zoey and his name is Reptar ( I didn't pick reptar...)

Welcome to Chameleon Forums :)

Are Zoey and Reptar in the same cage? If you have not already done so you may want to review the resource linked below. Pay special attention to the suggestion on supplementation. I'd love to see some photos if you get the chance.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your chameleons. He may be smaller because she is the dominate one. I would recommend two separate enclosures.

Hello

Thanks for the info , and I don't know how to upload pictures from the iPad or my iPhone . I've tried and it says uploaded but it gets stuck there.
Yes I already have purchased a temperory cage for the male ( Reptar) Until I most likely build him something bigger. Temp cage is 10x10x24. Weird thing is they don't really get stressed out by each other but they are also still young.

Again im not sure why it's not letting me upload pictures , since I have a bunch of pics Id like to share and see what you guys think.

Update

So I took the Kids ( that's what I call my jacksons) to Florida with me and they seemed to love it. The weather was great and I had them in a screened in sunroom the whole time. Also found a new cage for the boy to keep them seperate. The boy reptar seems to love the new cage and spends most of his time climbing up and down.
