New to chameleons, bit nervous...

The tomatoes are long gone. Removed them as soon as I was informed they might be dangerous. He's still not eating and went down to the floor again, hiding in de plants. I have added some real plants (don't know the English word for them) for him to hide behind when he's up his branch. But I he hasn't gone up in a week, I have to put him there assuming that's where he needs to be. It's almost as if he's too weak to move around or stay up there. I have changed to branches to thinner ones and added a few more so he can pick any of them, but he has yet to do so.

I've also added a small fan from a computer to have more airflow, it's not creating a draft, just some flow.

Thanks.

Just an update:

Been a few days and he's still not eating, he sleeps/hangs a lot but moves a bit more than before. Gave him bug juice twice and offer him food e few times a day but he won't eat anything. I take the bugs out again before the lights go out. Not sure how I can get him to eat more, he looks like he's too weak to walk normal. He's dragging his feet around ad just kind of fall over. When I put him on his big branch he just walks up to the top a bit and stays there... I don't know what to do for him.

ETA: I was reading about weight on a forum here and I weighted Rango too: he's 220 grams (7.76 oz).

Update: He's been with us for 2,5 weeks now and so far I could feed him a few waxworms, a few crickets, bug juice (just a bit) and a few syringes with gekko food+vitamines (Someone advised me to do that on any reptile that's weak). So far he didn't drink on his own (to my knowledge anyway).

He's still very weak and almost unable to stay upright. His eyes are not tucked back and yesterday I took him out while I had a red heat lamp I used on my chickens pointed at him... he started to move towards it and raised his head nd turned his body towards it.

Other than that he does;t move around and just sits on the floor hiding in a few plants... I still don't know what to do to fi this but I've decided to put the UVB inside his terra instead of above the mesh. I also added another (smaller) heat lamp near the other one, maybe he's just cold and unable to digest food?

I really dunno...

uh ok... totday I was looking at him and he started to poop. Not sure if it was my haircut but he did. He did it on the sand/moss part of the enclosure so it looked a tad messy. I scraped it onto apiece of paper and took some pictures of it because it doesn't look right (according to the poop 101 thread). I didn't upload the images to this forum as it's not the most appealing thing to look at but instead uploaded them to my server.

I would really appreciate if someone could take a look and tell me what to do. I think he doesn't have enough fluids in him. It's pretty thin and orange. Oh, the images also show moss and sand and I tried to pick it apart a bit with a Q tip. Nobody warned me about the smell either...
