New to Chameleons:Feeding Greens?

Just got my juvenile male chameleon yesterday, had his habitat all set up and waiting for him to arrive. I've seen him eat a cricket and drink water, now to my question... how do I feed him greens? The place I ordered him from said he was eating fresh collard and turnip greens. Do I hang a whole leaf in with him, cut up leaves into smaller pieces and put in a bowl? I've attached pictures of his cage, does my setup look okay? Am I missing anything? Thank you.

Looks like you have a good start going! I would say, take out the substrate at the bottom, it can cause impaction if your guy gets some of it while shooting his food. I would also add more horizontal branches towards the top at different heights and spacing with vines connecting them (think of a highway of vines that should allow him to get anywhere in his enclosure without climbing his screen) so that he can utilize them all. That way he can pick his perfect spot for thermoregulation while basking. Oh as a clarification, you want to make sure he cannot get too close to the lights as he can burn himself and not know it, so leave some space from where the top of his back will be from the lights (maybe 6-8 inches or so). Someone with more experience with veileds may chime in with more accurate advice. :)

Sorry, I can't answer your question as to greens since I have a panther and no experience with veiled.

Good luck with your new friend!!!

My veiled loves collard greens mustard greens and kale but i only give them to him once a week as a treat. I just put them in a food dish in his cage or sometimes if I'm lucky he will take them from my hand
