New to the cham world I've always had beardies. I got Darwin a week before Christmas and he's amazing I instantly fell in love, he's a veiled chameleon the pet store didn't have an exact age just under 6 months is all they said. He seems happy and healthy very loving and loves for me to hold him reaches out for me every time I open his cage to feed and mist. My only question so far is why does he wait for me to make his daily poop? About midday misting when I open his screen enclosure to spray it down he takes off real fast (fast for him lol) climbs down his vine lifts his hind leg like a dog and poops. He's never taken a poop without me there. Just wondering if it's normal for them to do this.

And maybe if someone could give me a better estimate on his age would be awesome

Maybe he thinks. Hey this stuff stinks and if he does it infront of you you will see it and clean it up immediately

How long is he? He looks about 5 months to me.
I'm not real sure on length I haven't tried to measure him here's a pic of him kinda stretched out if that helps
