Hello there everyone, My name's Roger. I have always been fascinated by chameleons and how they can change colors and shoot they're tongues out, but never actually thought of owning one till just recently.
My friend is actually the one responsible for getting me into chameleons now. the funny thing is that he owns a snake, and was trying to get me to buy one.
I for one dont mind Snakes, but I wouldnt really want to own one. we recently went to a Pet Bazaar to look at snakes and saw a few Chams along the way and they Sparked my interest in them again. they're just so cool!! an animal that can do so many different things!! Anyways, The reason Im writing this is because I am not at all very well educated about Chameleons and Ive been trying to read up on them, its just that There is so MUCH information and so many different types of Chameleons... im Simply overwhelmed. Can anyone take the time to let me know the Basics on how to keep and Care for a Chameleon. I would also like to what are the most common and easiest types to care for if you're new to the craze.
THANKS to anyone who reads this! Super THANKS if you Reply with Help :D

Welcome to the forums you came to the right place! Veileds are a great begginer chameleon followed by Panther chameleons. Panther chameleons come in more varieties of colors but tend to cost a little more. Both are similar in care/requirements. The classified section on here is always full of a healthy variety of chameleons for a great price! You will be addicted soon so you better start saving extra money now!!!!!!!! You have been warned ;)
