I recently bought a Jackson chameleon he is about two months old and I have had him for about a month now he seems to be doing great but I just wanted to look for some advice to see if I was taking care of him correctly. I live in Colorado so an outside cage isn't really an option for me so I have him in tall natural terrarium with the ventilation system. I have been feeding him fruit flies he seems to like them I feed him twice a day. I have a dripper to provide water and I most the cage 4-5 times a day for about 5 minutes each. The only question I have right now is if it is better to let the fruit flies crawl around the cage or is it better to have them stay in one spot? If there is any suggestions on how I maintain my chameleon please come forward with them it is my first time owning a chameleon but I also have a ball python and a leopard gecko.
