Hey there everyone. What an awesome site this is. How great would it have been, to have access to this much knowledge / support 15 years ago when I got my first? I thought I'd struck gold when I stumbled across "True Chameleons Part 1" by Phillipe de Vosjolli.

Between buying a house and having a "NO CATS" room I'm in the position to live with a chameleon again. I'm in Parkersburg WV. Are there any fellow forum members whithin a couple of hours who sell chameleons?

Welcome back welcome back welcome back. Some of us have hatchlings or are going to. This would be the best place to buy because everybody knows one another go to the classifieds.

Welcome! You are right about this being a super place for cham lovers. Don't worry about buying a cham that has to be shipped. Good breeders know how to ship them to you in perfect shape. Breeders have a lot of energy and care invested in their chams. They don't want anything to happen to it either! All of my chams have arrived UPS overnight. I worry more about selecting a good breeder than the shipping issue. Kingsnake.com and this forum are good places to look. Take your time and enjoy looking at everything available. What type of chameleon(s) did you have before?

Welcome all, hope you have a pleasant stay and enjoy the time you spend here... it may be a lot.. personal exp

Not sure how far that is from Virginia but tag Vincent at screameleons.com that is where i got Leon (in my avatar). They may be drivable distance but... like everyone says good breeders can ship with no issues.

I'm definetly getting sucked into this site. I think my wife may be getting jealous. She'll come around. She's a closet cham lover.

I work for a Swiss Chocolatier by day. Unfortunately I've seen my share of melted mail orders shipped back to us. Sometimes it's unavoidable. It's nice to get the positive assurance on shipping chams.
