Apparently but they only have small animals and reptiles.

Wow, how ignorant. At least she's in good hands now. To get her to settle in just give her lots of plant cover (I've noticed that my Jackson's loves being in thick cover more than my panthers) and lots of water. She should be much calmer in a couple days.
tHANKS. You dont think she seems a bit dark and stress marked? She stays in one spot in her cage and has yet to move except for her extremely long misting this morning. I misted 4 gallons into her cage and she drank almost the entire time. She sat their with her mouth open and would let it fill up and drink. She could not get enough water. I sure hope she does well and I am pretty confident she was WC with all the scarring on her.
She is dark, nevertheless she was in a store, with bunches of people poking at her enclosure, staring in at her, and then she was plucked from her newly found home, and was placed in a new one. She is definitely stressed. That being said, I think it would be best to leave her alone except for feedings and mistings until she settles in. Also, what are your temperatures in her cage?
I dont handle my chams. I have held my male maybe 2 times during cage cleanings since I have owned him and he is really non aggressive. He is not scared of me and I think its because he knows I will not touch him unless necessary.
She is in a quiet room and no one will hold or mess with her. She seems content but her color says different. I hope she settles in well this week because I am very excited to have her. I thought it would be a few months before I even thought about getting a female. It was a nice suprise for myself. I guess she is my mothers day present to me.
Her temp at the tip top is 80ish and goes down to 70 at the bottom. The room she is in is 68 during the day and drops to 64-65 at night and sometimes colder but never colder then 60. I have found my male enjoys his cage more if he does not have it really bright. I have light minimal in her cage too. I am not sure if its good but my male Jackson's prefers a darker cage unlike my veileds who liked lots of light.
I don't think it's too hot, I think many people would say that the low 80's is a good hot spot temperature. Xanthoman (if he doesn't mind quoting him) keeps his at a maximum of 84 and mine are near that too. It's what I've always read caresheets say, so I personally wouldn't touch that.
She can definitely get around her plants, don't worry I have mine just packed with two bushy umbrella plants and Othello makes his way through the branches just fine. And he has areas of the cage that aren't so packed, so he can pick and choose how out in the open he wants to be.
I will lower the wattage of bulb. Its only 80 if she is directly under the bulb at the tip top of her plant. It stays really cold in our house so she has a really good gradient. I will lower the watt though just to make sure.
I use digital probe thermometers tied to her limbs and I have a temp gun.
