I just got a veiled chameleon and i was wondering should i feed him today? what till tomorrow for him to get comfortable? or what? I know they eat a lot as babies so i don't want him to miss a whole day of food if he doesnt have to. Also any other tips to help get him used to the new enclosure would be help, especially since where i got him from had him in an all glass terrarium and i have an all mesh/screeened one. Thank you all in advanced.
Pics soon but i dont want to bother him more than i have to for now!

yes, feed him today if he will eat. If he doesn't, then don't worry that is normal. Just give him space and let him settle in. Don't try handling him right away. Let him get used to his environment. I would give him a couple of weeks.

On the handling topic: I'm in my first week and trust me it only gets harder not to reach in there and see if your guy is ready to climb on you. Its like torture over here

It's much easier to handle the torture if you've another cham ;):D

Yea just feed him. I got a veiled probably about a month or so ago and I feed him the first day. I would start out with free ranging the crickets at first and the use cup feeding if that's what u plan to do. My Cham has now learned that when I take the cup out and place it back in the cup will be filled with food. I would have to say that's pretty smart.
