he looks really nervous but I take it thats because of the new enviroment, I dunno what to do about humidity, he's petrified of the mist coming from the humidifier and I dunno if misting 3 times a day is enough...

3 times a day is good.
do 5 minutes or more permisting.
If you add live plants, they will rise the humidity.

well I put lucky bamboo in there and he ate alot of the leaves from it, also there is a brom but she doesnt pay alot of attention to it, the tank seems to dry out so quickly after misting

i say for now increase the misting session.
i do it 4 times a day in 3 - 4 hours increment (I use auto mister).
chameleon eat leaves to compensate for lack of water.

From what i understand the hanging upside down from the ceiling is fairly normal in younger chameleons. I know mine did it. He is just adapting to his new enclosure.

Mine all seemed to do the "ceiling crawl" thing when younger. From your picture, she seems to be 4-5 months old, so I would put a flower pot or some other container of sand or mixture for her to dig and/or lay in. I use a mixture of sand and Bed-a-Beast (coconut fiber in a brick that you add water to) because a container of just sand is really heavy. Did you get the Reptisun UVB lighting? If not check out the theads on here from people with sick or dieing or dead chameleons from improper lighting. I currently still use some Reptariums and because of the dark mesh I use Reptisun 10.0's slightly elevated off of the top. You also need a good thermometer-somthing digital with a probe inorder to make sure your temps are spot on. Also, for Reptariums with soft trays I don't use any substrate-just clean with paper towels to wipe up water and "other" stuff. Problem with Reptariums are that about once a month or so, you have to take them completely apart to get all the junk out that accumulates between the softray, the tubing, and the mesh. She is a cutie-looks healthy-good luck with her and keep us posted!

would an icecream pail filled with sand and moist dendrobedding work well for a nice laying spot?

Also I'm having a real problem with water accumulating at the bottom of the flex, what should I use, paper towel just isnt doing it for me doesnt seem to dry up...

for now you can get a plastic tub that fit the dimension of your cage.
and I use turkey baster to suck the water every night.
