Newbie needed cage filling feedback

Do not have a chameleon yet. Going to an expo next week to get my first one. Going for a panther. They had them there last year so betting they will again. If not getting a Jacksons
Just wondering if this was too crowded at the bottom and not covered enough near the top. You can see through the plant in person but it gives a fair amount of coverage. Kind of starts light and gets more dense as it goes down. Do I need a few more leaves near the top to give some more cover or will it be fine for a year while the plant grows a bit?
The bottom 6 inches of the cage is pretty much bare other than a couple of vines and sticks to climb up and down from the bottom. Wanted it clear so he would be able to spot crickets down there very easily. And be able to wipe and large amounts of water up easy. Keep it clean and all that.
Wondering if there was any small adjustments people think may be needed

Looks good. There isn't any kind of substrate on the bottom is there? Hard to tell from the picture.

like the PVC idea should make cleaning easier... I just did my first encloser and zip tied EVERY thing so nothing would fall. I got done and then thought about how much cleaning is going to be a nightmare. GOod thing i dont plan on keeping it more then 5 months before i upgrade his cage lol. Lessons learned. Looks good if you dont want to add in more vines, lowes has bamboo sticks cheap that i added into mine as well. Give another color contrast.

The bottom are some nice square foot brown splotchy tiles that look kind of like dirt I happened to see at the store and just loved. And easy to wipe clean.
I wanted something that could make a simply structure to hang vines and branches off of and happened to watch by the pipe section and had an idea.
Isn't all pvc though. Didn't want it all pvc. The white wouldn't look good and wouldn't give the little guy much to grip. So a bit of sanding on wood dowels and it's all a nice fit. Just looks better and will probably feel much more at home for him.
They are almost all sealed so it can't fall apart. It's 2 large separate pieces so it can come in and out.
I also did a small amount of changes since this morning. The vine that wraps around the bottom half of the structure can come apart a little to mave how many leaves go where and took a few out and zip tied them higher up around some of the more bare areas that don't block too much light to the live plants. So it looks slightly more balanced now

Think we may be. The one in Puyallup. Last year only saw Nosy Be's there but I really hope they have some Ambilobes

Yep! That's the one. It will be my first time going at the fairgrounds but I went to the one in Renton earlier this year. I saw some Ambilobes there so hopefully the breeder will go to this one too!

I hear great things about panthers, and I do have to admit their colors really are astonishingly beautiful. I just took home a Jackson recently, and I can't tell you how great he's been. He usually stays a lime green, maybe getting some dark green triangles now and then, but his horns and grumpy look truly make him look he's straight out of the dinosaur age. I can tell you that, although limited to mainly to veileds and jacksons that come through my store, jacksons tend to fairly social, or at the very least not aggressive. I guess basically I'm trying to impress upon you a Jackson

I missed the Renton show this year (and I live in Renton). Can't wait to go to the one this weekend. I'm hoping there is someone there from Mistking or AquaZamp. There are some awesome west coast breeders.

I'm hoping mistking will be there too. I know I'm going to get one but waiting a few days to see if I can cut out the shipping cost would be nice. Save about $25. Already spent far more than I ever first imagined it would be to start from nothing

Ha Ha don't even talk about how much you have spent. I am waiting on the arrival of my 3rd cham on Friday, another Panther from Bruce at Chameleon Paradise. Enclosures, plants, lights, cabinets, feeders, alot of trial and error. I work now to support my chameleon habit LOL.

They are so amazing to watch and care for. I intend to be the Crazy Chameleon Lady when I retire.

I am leaning towards the Aquazamp, but like you I would like to avoid the shipping costs if possible. Lets hope someone is there this weekend.
