Hello Everyone!

Ive always found myself to be more an "exotic pet" owner.. i have a thing for animals im not supposed to touch and really supposed to just look at. This would probably explain my Saltwater Reef tank that ive spent countless thousands of dollars on at the age of 19 when i should be more worried about buying a car or beer i guess?

Either way the last few months i just keep getting this idea in my head to get a chameleon, and lately all ive been doing is looking at them and researching them.. and ive come to the conclusion i definitely want one and i definitly want one from screameleons and most likely a male Ambilobe althought ive heard the females are a bit more relaxed. Everything about this animal i find interesting whether it be its extremely lax nature, to its vibrant colors which ive only seen in my corals, the way it moves, and i think their feet and eyes are so awesome.

Im a responicible pet owner who can show dedication to this animal!

I joined the forum just to learn more about them and really get to know what im doing before i purchase one cause im flat out sick of looking at them online..

Sorry if that was long! Nice to be here!

Welcome!!
I would go with a male for your first chameleon. You dont have to deal with the whole egg thing. Females need more care and attention than males do. Also males are more colorful than females.
I got a male Ambanja from screameleons. His sire is SoKool. He is very healthy and happy. Hi is just 4 months now so he doesnt have much color yet. But he will get there. Hope this helps.
