Hi I have a baby vieled, the temp in my room at night can hit the low low 60s and was wondering how to make the enclosure warmer? I don't want to use a heat emitter invade it gets him stuck in the warmth without knowing how to escape. So any other suggestions? I'm struggling to keep the humidity up aswell .

how old is your baby? if it is older than 2 months I would say its ok. They need that temp drop at night. What are your day temps?

It's only 4 weeks old. Got it yesterday. It hasn't eaten yet either, I'm very worried. I have put it in a 50 litre container with some live trees and have placed that in a 48 x 24 x 24 adult cage with the lights suspended above it. My camera is broken and I am waiting for a new one.

It can take chams several days (even a week or more) to settle in and feel comfortable enough to eat. Dont worry, just keep his mistings up.
What live trees are you using?

Parlor palm and a ficus. I mist about 6 times a day because it's quite dry where I live, I also have a little dripper. Which is good isn't it?

yesm just make sure everything dries out between mistings. I dunno botu the palm being cham friendly though. theres a list on here somehwere that says it, cuz chams do sometimes munch on their plants.

post as many questions as you need until you feel comfortable. a lot of great people are here to help all.

Don't assume by how this sounds...

This is going to sound a tad mean but I promise I'm only trying to help... Yesterday you began a similar post and the general consensus was that you would raise the overall temps of your room you were keeping him in wasn't it? It may be intrusive but if you can't keep the nighttime temps above what you were talking about yesterday than it would be pretty much the only method... I don't see how they would be a problem though? Whatever you choose just be sure it doesn't involve light as they like a complete dark room to sleep...
