Night temps?

im planning on getting two pygmy's and was wondering what should the night temps be? do they require a uvb light?

The general rule of thumb is to have a UVB light for all reptiles and amphibians, but a lot of people say they don't need one for the bearded pygmy. I have a dual light bulb canopy, but I only put in one bulb to set a dark-light side. You definitely don't need a night light because they go to sleep at night and you won't see them moving. Mine goes back to the same spot everytime to let me know to turn off the light. For the temperature, you can drop it to around a nice 68-72. Just something that's cooler than what you have during the day.

I provide my pygs uvb light.
you can put a reptisun 2.0 linear tube or a used reptisun 5.0 linear tube.
I live in SoCal where it actually harder to keep things cool. So, I do not use heat lamp for my pygs at all at night or day.

Very quick and to the point:

UVB: Yes, I use 5.0 (an old one is okay too) they live on the forest floor, not in caves and are not nocturnal. I believe we can assume they require some exposure to UVB radiation.

Night Light: No.

Night time temperature: Mine drop to 55 - 58 degrees f. at night.
