No Response from AqaZamp for 2 Weeks After Paying

Just wanted to let everyone know that I placed an order last Friday and have yet to receive my misting system or a response to any of several emails sent from my personal account and from Paypal. Just a heads up to anyone that might be considering ordering

Wouldn't a good business practice be to let the customer who has payed for your product know why it's taking so long to ship? It's not the first time I've seen poor customer service associated with AquaZamp. The reviews for the products are very good...

Wedding means nothing to me, sorry but that's no reason to not communicate with customers. Will be going with Misting now

Mistking is great I have two and the customer service is top notch. I have sent third grade looking drawings of my racks to him and he has designed my full system with instructions always answering any questions I had.

I had the same issue with aquazamp.

Just dispute the charges through paypal.... that's what I did and he sent it out within a couple days. I love the dome and it's a great product but customer service seems to be lacking.

I'm having the same issue right now.

I actually ordered my misting system through MistKing simply because Aquazamp wouldn't respond to my questions. I don't tolerate poor customer service. MistKing has fantastic customer service. However, I really wanted to add the RainDome to my system so I ordered it a week ago. Since then I have sent multiple emails and FB messages as well as attempted phone calls to check on the status of my order. Still no response. This is unacceptable. What kind of respectable business owner treats his customers like this?I'm about to send a dispute.

I've been on the fence between aquazamp and mistaking for a while now, and I think I'm definitely gonna roll with Mistking. I figure I could just get their rain nozzle set up and find a very lightweight plastic bowl or something to put over it so there's zero overspray. Heck, I did a cheap as dirt DIY rain dome for my juvenile enclosure by screwing a spray nozzle through a plastic planter cup that I picked up at a dollar store.

MistKing is legit and Marty is fantastic. I have the Rain Nozzle. Works great, just a little overspray. I guess with my soon to be cage upgrade that would be a non issue but I purchased the Rain Dome anyway. Might just cancel it.

so every one loves the aquazamp systems.... but we have time and again read that poor customer service is becoming the norm for this sponsor.
Im a huge fan of diy, and as such, I think that for 30-35, a person could build their own.

Heres what you need:
Dry wall mud pan, $4.00 + shipping

BulkHead connector $3.50

t-nozzle $6.00
Value Greenhouse "T" Nozzle (non adjustable)

L-nozzle $6.00

p-clips $5.50
http://www.ebay.com/itm/100pcs-6-4m...425?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4842e21659

throw on a 10 for shipping, and you are at 35-ish.

i dint count the cost of hose, because most of us have it just laying around.
it could be considerably cheaper if you had the nozzles, p-clips and bulkhead connector.

Uhh where is the digital timer and $$$ membrane pump? Hell the aquatec booster pump the kit comes with is over $75 alone.

oh... i guess i didnt read as thoroughly as i thought i did. i thought it was just about a rain dome.... :-" in my defense, i'm at work....
but the idea remains... its often cheaper to put together a system that works for you

Diaphram pump $50.00 0-60psi

seconds timer $29.00

hose $14.00

ceramic nozzles $10.00 +

Now im not saying that its easier... I bought a mistking, and i will say that after having the mistking, how fast it shipped, the quality of components... I would have to seriously be in a really really tight spot to diy my own.... but if it were something like the rain dome... i'd probably just diy one.

I only mentioned a diy option because over the last few months, i have seen about a post +/- each month regarding the service and wait times from aquazamp. that being said, i also understand that there were a few 1 off situations that are not typical of the brand.
I said nothing of the quality or pricing. i don't have Aquazamp, (i have read the build quality is as good as or better than a mistking), so i dont know. For me, i dont know how it could be better than a mistking... this thing is quieter than the fan on my enclosure, and the only reason i know its on, is the dripping i hear from water pooling on leaves.

Glad I found this thread and now know that I am not the only one. I was set on a Mistking then found about the Aquazamp. Was leaning in that direction because of the rain dome and American made etc. and I must have sent 4 emails with no response. This clears it up.
