Noise machine issues

Hi, I'm going to be getting a baby veiled cham soon. The cage is setup in my room and I noticed that its near my white sounds machine that helps me sleep. The machine doesnt play rain or thunder or anything themed, its just a low constant tone that blocks out my dogs barking so I can sleep. Although I've used it for years and its always helped me sleep, I was worried that it might keep my baby cham up. I know that chams have pretty poor hearing, but im just not sure whether or not his sleep will be affected by the machine. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I don't think that it will be a problem. Chameleons can't really hear much. In fact... they don't "hear" at all. They only sense vibrations. I keep a purifier on in my room that makes a similar noise and it doesn't bother Emoji. If you notice it keeping him up, though, you can turn it off. I don't know about other chams, but mine could sleep through anything at night.

I have a very loud air conditioner (on the opposite side of the room) and 2 fans going. My cham sleeps like a baby. No worries! :)

The chameleon will be just fine, but why are your dogs barking? Seems like stoping them would solve a lot of problems for you.

The noisemaker is more of a tradition now than actually serving a purpose, my dogs aren't so noisy but when my father gets home (he works late hours) they bark. Nothing I can really do, but I'm used to it and hopefully my Cham won't be bothered
