Normal behaviour?

Hi all,

Recently upgraded me male Yemen chameleons enclosure from a 100 gallon exo terra flexarium to a 4x2x2 reptibreeze viv. The problem is that my little man keeps trying to force his was through the top and sides of the cage and seems desperate to be out. The top of his enclosure stands about 7 foot, I have covered the sides with a green tarpalaun to make it a little more private. Is this a good idea or not? Meaning does it stress them out? Any hints or tips and advice is really appreciated.

I would take off the tarp and just give him some time to get used to it. Chameleons really are creatures of habit and I have found the littlest change in their habitat can really throw them off and take some getting used to. If he does not eat, do not freak out either. I always tell everyone about the panther chameleon I took in from another member. He was so upset at first from the change he did not eat for 11 days! I provided him a much nicer environment but it did not matter.
