Wuz up everybody?:D

Well I was just wondering, i've had my Veiled for about 3 moths and everything has been going great!! but i recently noticed that he dosent change color very much he is brown all day and turns a bright lime green at night while sleeping. is that normal?

Oh and now in the winter time the temps in my cage have been hard to maintain with these crazy changes in tempeture any tips so i can raise the tempeture in the cage by just a little?

i already have 2 basking lamps but they just keep the high tempeture around the 77 range and the low around 60. i have a 24x24x48 cage and jalapenio(thats his name) is about 5-6 months.

Tell us about your basking lights. What watt bulbs are you using and how are they mounted to your cage? You need to have a basking spot of at least 86.

I have a 75 watt bulb on both but on one I have a bulb that is specificly for basking but the other is a regular 75 watt house bulb.....and their 1 inch away from the cage(to prevent heating of the aluminum)

yeah...I'm using a analog thermometer Im going 2go buy a digital one ma-b it's off or somthing.....yeah I have a all screen cage

I only use a 60 watt and it gets up to 88 and 89. I don't understand how yours could be so cool. Do you have your cham in a heated room?
