Normal????

Walked in on my chameleons trying to eat the plastic plants. Is this normal? I have 2 live plants in there. 1 being a Pothos, and the other is bamboo. Even after trying repeatedly he still went at it. How can I fix this? Is it normal? Can it hurt him?

Just watch you Cham, if you notice he's acting funny TAKE HIM TO THE VET ASAP!

Sometimes when my boy cypress (Panther Cham) is hunting for water it'll look like he's munching on the plants but he's actually just trying to getting water off of them. You should try to get a picture or video so maybe we can see what he's actually doing a little better?

That does make since because it was about 5 minutes after I misted.

I've seen a lot of my panthers tearing into the bark of the limbs I provide, doesn't seem to matter what type of branch it is. Haven't noticed any side affects though.

My chameleon used to try to munch on his plastic and real plants when he was smaller and then one day he just abruptly stopped. If your chameleon is young it could just be a phase.

My girl has done this a couple times. I also hung some kale in there (spritzed with water first because I thought she might be thirsty!) and she chowed down on it.
