I use they as feeders here in the summer months. I catch them in a state forest while I'm catching other wild feeders. Of course I cannot use them in the winter *wink**wink* because it is illegal to breed them. They are considered an invasive species because the females can breed without the presence of a male. Although they only produce more female clones of themselves without a male. They make great treats for chams and my love themselves some walking stick. They do take quite awhile to hatch, many months, and awhile to mature to adult size as well. Although they are pretty decent size for small chams from the start.
