Hey welcome to the forums! I recently bought a nosy be a couple of months ago, and when i brought her home she started closing her eyes, it is probably just from being dehydrated and being in a new environment, just keep misting with warm water and have the dripper on for him and he should be fine :D keep us posted though

Hey checkmate! I got his brother! I'd be curious to see the differences as they grow! Good luck with gettin' his eye to behave properly!

thanks guys this is a great place to speak with people who love chams as much as i do .and the little one eats like a savage lol

12 hours...

how many hours daily

Lighting should be 12 hours on and 12 hours off you will need as Aleax mentioned a linear tube Reptisun 5.0 and also a basking light, you can use a regualr household bulb for that and use whatever wattage you need to achive the appropriate basking temp... basking for a baby panther should be 90-95F and for an adult 95-100F.

Keep misting and if you can it really is extremely helpful if you fill out the "ask for help" form someone posted for you as we can look at what you set up is and help you to make adjustments if needed.

Congrats on your new baby! :p
