Nosy Be color change

These two pictures are amazing. They really highlight the ability of chameleons to change their base coloration.

This is the exact same chameleon with about 17 minutes between photographs.

Thanks Rush. I'm very excited to see how he turns out. He's showing more intense blues than my Booberry (Avatar) did at that age. I really hope the white highlights on his lips and eyelids turn yellow like Boo.

Thanks. He's growing like a weed. It's funny how fast they grow and to me how much I don't notice. I found his shipping container and there is no way he would fit now. I'm also fascinated at his ability to go from almost all blue to muted slate blue with lines.

He's a trip to watch hunt. When he's stalking he is a slate blue or very dark greenish grey. When he hits a food item he turns electric blue with faint vertical bars.

I also love the way he will turn sideways on a branch facing away from me to hide.

He's a fascinating little guy.
