Here are 2 of my males. Both are captive bred and from true blue lines, different breeders.

The first show an enormous amount of blues for the most part, but does through some greens and the dark barring. He has produced amazing true blue offspring.

The second is my prized male and took me a long time to get him. They all have their beauty and are magnificent in their own ways.

I prefer the wild look of Nose Be's although true blue is very desirable. I have a "true blue" female, my male is from Nihlus of Kammerflage which is more of a wild look. All in all it's personal preference.

really like your new one.

Very, very true. My clutches will produce a variety of different appearances. Some get red eyes, red rain, etc. Where others are solid blue or greenish.

How old are the males before you can tell if they will be blue or green?
Mine is 6 months and no blue in sight, only green, even though the sire was a nice bright blue

It varies quite a bit. My Plasma was just a drab green for about a year and a half, then suddenly his intense blues just popped out. Then again, I have other Nosy Be, that were a light blue at only 4 months of age. It is just really hard to know how they will turn out unless you keep them for 18 - 24 months.

I completely agree... I have raised quite a few and purchased quite a few and they all came different in one way or another.

Everyones pics of their Nosy Be's are ridiculous!!! lol

I think i'm set on a Nosy Be for my next cham...I like the True Blue's like Toms (tkilgour) and Hoj's Be with that slight turquoise blue in him...

Both of these I consider a "Nosy Be", But i do love the Be's with alittle red rain in them. Def going to be my next cham, hopefully in March I can get one :D
