Nosy faly locale

Awsome set up. My only concern is as stated above is the lack of a ventilation strip on the bottom. Im not a Pardalis expert but most chameleons need it to dry out during the day. You could either add a ventilation strip or I've seen people drill and put circular ventilation caps on the sides.

Ion these habistat vivs the sides are made up of two parts, a thicker section of glass and a thinner strip of glass, the make mesh vents to go where the thinner strips are, so will look at getting those if there are any issues and just have them set up for cross ventilation by having them on opposite sides. It only looks as wet as it does as i literally took that whilst misting , but thanks for the compliment on the setup, just a needs a few more branches and some creeper vines and it’s finished

So today was a good day. Installed his automated misting system and the final wooden tree section to give him some more climbing space and a eventual natural way out the viv for when he’s free ranging, just need those plants to grow and wrap them sevens around that last tree and we’re good, he’s making use of it already

Chameleons in the mist
This is actually not what you want for fogging... Lights should never be on when fogging because they produce heat and you need airflow or it becomes stagnant air. Fogging is only done at night when the cage temp is well below 68 and when you can provide air flow.

What your showing above is a recipe for creating an environment where the chameleon can easily get a respiratory infection.

Yes fully aware thank you it was a one off , a cross over on the new timers. It literally went on 2 mins before lights out, so don’t worry it’s not a common occurrence, just thought it made for a good photo at the time 😒

Glad you know... But that link will help you with timing... The enclosure has to be cool otherwise it become hot moist air. This is dangerous. I mention it because I have seen people do this with glass enclosures in the forum. Their chams died within months.
