Nosy Faly Owners

I was going to pass on the sale but i kinda felt sorry for the little guy. They are unrelated, The female came from somebody else, the seller just picked her up for me.

I dont think the guy is a breeder, i personally think he is a dealer that buys them for rock bottom price and sells them on. The male actually looks very much like an import, i know there was a shipment of them due in this month so makes sense. I have papers for them both, 1 from the original breeder of the female, and 1 for the male, although i think the males papers are probably forgeries to make him look CB.

The male does look very unhealthy but believe me, he is a good eater and drinks plenty. He is also very active and aware of his surroundings. Not lethargic in any way which is why i think hes gonna be ok.

I think you're dead on that he's a wc, recent import Nosy Faly. Doesn't look Nosy Be, other than how they all sort of do. He's young so I'd think if he's eating and drinking you've got a pretty good chance with him, too.

I didnt think he was a nosy be either but a German friend of mine said he is. I can only guess that he is unhappy i didnt go through him to buy them. Oh well, never mind, ive gotta stand on my own 2 feet 1 day!! lol. Im sure hes a WC. To me that is a good thing, its new genes to add to the pool.

I would say Faly for sure on the male. With the amount of parasites some of these wc faly's have been coming in with a fecal would be wise but I am sure you know all about that. Does anyone else think the U bar on the female is odd...or do I have no clue what I am talking about?

The U bar is common in a lot of females. Theres a few people who have said she looks like a faly female and texaspantherman who has 4.6 Faly is sure she is Faly too so im not concerned in the slightest.

I think hes gonna be a little beauty when hes had a few sheds and been hydrated and nourished. He looks green in the pics, they are taken from my phone buy hes sky blue in the flesh, although he looks a little washed out, probably dirt if hes WC.

There is no real way to tell weather you have a faly girl or and ambanja girl.... or what ever locale until you breed and raise the babies out.
It kinda looks like you have a sambava female the reason I say this is yes some other locale females do have there bars not go to a point but they never seem to have the U factor like that female has. I have CB and WC faly females and there is no definite way to tell. the faly girls look like my ambanjas girls and my ambanja girls look like my faly girls And I do know there locales and my soon to be sambava pair the female has the same bar pattern as yours.

well i guess time will tell when the babies have matured. At the moment my main focus is getting the male back to full health. Only once hes ok will i breed. Ill more than likely hatch 5 or 6 eggs and hold onto them until im sure i have Faly. Then i can let all the eggs go full time knowing im not breeding crosses or not if the worst happens!

The male looks faly to me and he looks like he has some good potential so I would just get him back to health and he will look really good.

He could be Faly, Faly/Banja or Faly/Be.....who knows? I would focus on his health for now. As he matures, you should be able to make an educated guess as to his true locale.

I think they are WC falys (at least the male is) you will find out when you get a fecal that the male is loaded But when you deal with wc falys it's hard to get a good healthy pair. I have been told the collectors often fill there orders with female ambanjas if they can't find enough female falys.

I just snapped a couple more pics of him. As you can see, he is starting to gain some weight now in the short time ive had him and looking generally a lot better!

Keep up the good work with them its paying off. I hope that male retains all that white between his bars and on his belly. If he does your gonna have a great looking guy on your hands in a few more months.

Thanks Scott. Im hoping hes gonna keep the whites too. I love how random his red spots are. Ive gotta say it though, im a little worried about the female, someone said she looks more like a Sambava than a Faly because of the U bar. I see tons of blue in her cheeks and body but still worrying. What do you think? I ask because you have quite a few so your in a good position to give me your opinions, unlike many who dont have first hand experience.

By the way, do you know how much Faly are going for this side of the pond? Have a guess and ill tell you if your close! lol

She looks a whole lot like a wc female I bought last Dec. Like I said I think she's either faly or poss ambanja. We all gamble when it comes to unknown orgin females.

I have no idea what falys are going for in the Uk. I'd say what 400 pounds is that equal to about 500 Us dollars? If they are going for more than 500 US thn I need to move to the UK. Ive got over 2 clutches left to sell. LOL

Id stay there and sell them but come here to buy them! My friend, a well known UK breeder was selling them last month for £170 each, Thats around $275 i think!!!

That wasnt aimed at you mate, i had a couple of people PM me saying that my female was a Sambava and sent me link to pics of their females.

3 months on and wow!!!

Took a pic of my Faly, now 3 months in my posession. Got a nice clutch of 19 eggs from him now too.
