not acting right

I have a female veiled chameleon, I think she's 3 or for months old. Recently she would always go to the bottom of the cage and just walk around alot, she rarely goes to the top. She really only goes up to sleep.

My my wife told me that. " You aren't acting right!" I was also, like the chameleon, just kind of restlessly walking around the bottom edge of my cage ( my bed,the couch, in the basement), and I was apparently brooding rather loudly. I then yelled " You don' t know me, ". Anywhoo
Let me just preface this by saying many on the forum will suggest my post is perhaps not to their liking, but the problem is one of two things.
1. Your chameleon is just walking around, it lives in a cage for Christ sake, just sitting there ALL DAY every day, dude, it just gets old, you know?
2. it's pregnant, it's serious, or it's sick, real sick, use the search function, be more specific , there are seriously some knowledgable people on this forum, dig deeper.

Make sure you double check your temps. If it's much to warn towards the top, she's probably trying to cool down. Being she's only 3-4 months old, I don't see her being gravid. Make sure you have a laying bin in there just in case! Sometimes we misjudge age of chameleons and end up not giving then a laybin when needed.

More specific ok, she sits down there all day in one spot and only goes up when she sleeps

Sounds like it's too hot in there for her. I agree she's a tad young for laying but it's possible so I would make a laying bin for her. What are your temps for her?

Is there any food in sight? My female would pace the bottom if I left crickets anywhere she could see them. I would also make sure her basking spot is to her liking. Try adding a few different levels, thicknesses of branches, etc.
